Uli Wilkes - Kleine Affäre
Uli Wilkes is the driving force behind Kleine Affäre, an independent cultural space in Hattingen-Blankenstein, Germany. Around him is a close-knit circle of people who share his vision, contribute their time and energy, and help sustain the space.
Exhibitions, comedy, cabaret, readings and other events come together here without being confined to a single format. Guests and visitors are equally part of this structure. Through their presence, support and regular purchases of artworks, they help keep the project alive.
What holds Kleine Affäre together is personal commitment: reliability, loyalty, honesty and mutual support. Wilkes takes responsibility for the people and artistic positions he presents, and these relationships do not end when an event or exhibition is over.
This is precisely where Kleine Affäre connects with the mindset of TEC.
